My struggles became my story.

And my story became my purpose.

God doesn't waste a thing.

I didn't become a health coach because I was looking for a new career.

I became a health coach because I needed answers.

For years, I was doing everything "right"—eating well, trying to stay active, and doing my best to take care of myself.

And yet I didn't feel like myself.

The symptoms kept piling up. The answers weren't coming. And the more confused I became, the more I started to wonder if this was simply how life was supposed to feel.

What changed everything was learning to look at my body as a whole system—not a collection of disconnected symptoms.

For the first time, things started to make sense.

My energy improved. My sleep got better. The brain fog lifted. And most importantly, I stopped feeling like I was fighting my body every single day.

That experience changed my life.

And now I help women do the same.

Through real food, practical wellness strategies, and meaningful conversations, I help women connect the dots and better understand what their bodies may be trying to tell them.

I'm Denise Thibodeau—a woman of faith, passionate about family, a foodie who loves to experiment in the kitchen, and a Certified IWH Wholistic Health Coach.

Whether we're talking recipes around the kitchen table or having a deeper conversation about your health, my goal is simple:

To help you feel understood, supported, and empowered to take the next step forward.

I learned to cook standing on a stool beside my mom. At 14, my aunty trusted me to cook for the hired hands on her family farm. Every day, 14 hungry men showed up—and every day, I fed every one of them.

That summer taught me something I'll never forget:

Good food brings people together.

Real ingredients matter.

And feeding people is an act of love.

That passion led me on the most wonderful adventure—from cooking on stage in front of hundreds of people to wandering food markets across Europe, growing my own garden, and spending decades helping families put simple, delicious meals on the table.

Through it all, one thing has never changed:

Good food is one of the foundations of a healthier life.

And it doesn't have to be complicated.

If cooking feels overwhelming, start small. Every recipe I create is designed to be simple, flavourful, and made with real ingredients.

Because taking care of your health doesn't start with perfection.

It starts with the next meal.

And I'll be right there with you. 💚

The Kitchen Story

I've been cooking since I could reach the counter.

The Body Story

My body sent me a birthday gift when I turned 40. I didn't love.

It wasn't dramatic. No emergency. No diagnosis. Just a little irritation. A little pain here and there.

Nothing screaming for attention—just quietly showing up like an uninvited guest at my own birthday party.

I laughed it off.

Told myself:

"Well, I'm 40 now. This is just life."

Friend, that little gift was only the beginning.

As the years passed, the list grew.

Sleep struggles.

Night sweats.

A body I didn't recognize in the mirror.

Stress that never seemed to let go.

Then my 50s arrived with new companions—hip pain, aching joints, exhaustion so heavy I needed a daily nap just to make it through the day.

And if I'm being honest?

A whole new wardrobe.

A size larger than my 40s.

Slowly, quietly, everything was changing.

Even though I was doing all the right things.

I went to doctors.

Spent money on massage and physiotherapy.

Googled symptoms late at night.

And over and over again, I heard the same thing:

"You're getting older. It's normal."

I refused to accept that.

The Life Shift

There are times when life hands you lemons. This season handed me a whole basket.

The business I had poured years of my heart into was gone.

Just like that.

The loss shook me to my core. It stripped away everything familiar and left me standing in the middle of my own life asking:

Now what?

Looking back, it was one of the greatest gifts I've ever received.

Because in the middle of that hard season, God brought Louise into my life.

Louise was a wellness coach who saw things differently.

Instead of looking at isolated symptoms, she looked at the whole picture.

For the first time, someone helped me understand that my body wasn't working against me.

It was communicating with me.

The first thing she asked me to do was complete a DeCode Your Body Discovery.

It was simple.

But it changed everything.

For the first time, I stopped chasing individual symptoms and started understanding the connections between them.

Things that had never made sense suddenly began to fit together.

And here's what surprised me most:

Getting my health back wasn't just about eating better.

It was about understanding what my body needed to function well.

It was about filling the nutritional gaps that even the healthiest food sometimes can't fill on its own.

Little by little, things began to change.

My energy improved.

My sleep improved.

The brain fog lifted.

And for the first time in years, I felt hopeful.

Pain dropped. Energy returned. Sleep improved. Brain fog lifted.

At 61 I feel better than I did at 45.

I was so moved by my own transformation that I went back to school at 60 and earned my certification as an IWH Certified Wholistic Health Coach. Just like Louise did for me — I now do for others.

This is not a career.

This is a calling.

I am driven by purpose, and I show up every day to help women find the answers I spent years searching for.

You'll usually find me on my 6:30am dog walk with Molson and Coaly — my sweet boys. 💚

That time with them sets both our days up for success. There's something about fresh air, wagging tails, and a quiet morning that just fills my cup.

When we get home, I grab my mushroom coffee, open my devotionals, and spend time in the Word. That quiet time grounds everything that comes after.

I've been married to my husband for 41 years. And honestly? It still amazes me how quickly the years have flown by.

My kids are grown now, and watching them build lives they love is one of the greatest gifts of my life. They turned into pretty incredible humans. I'll take that win every single time. 😊

I love gardening, too. Growing food, herbs, and flowers reminds me that good things take time. There is something deeply satisfying about planting a seed, nurturing it, and watching it grow.

And if you've been around me for more than five minutes, you already know I believe the same is true for our health.

Small steps.
Simple habits.
A little consistency.

That's where transformation begins.

If any part of my story feels familiar — I want to help.

The exhaustion.

The symptoms nobody could explain.

The feeling that something is off, but nobody seems to be connecting the dots.

Start with the free DeCode Your Body Discovery.

It takes about 15 minutes.

I personally review every single one.

Then I'll reach out with the next best step for you.

Because understanding your body shouldn't feel overwhelming.

It should feel empowering.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

The coach who helped change my life showed up with compassion, encouragement, and answers when I needed them most.

That's exactly how I want to show up for you. 💚
